Terms of service

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pulled. To participate in cash reward challenges, you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), hold a valid PayPal account, and reside in a jurisdiction where skill-based cash rewards are permitted.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person. Operating multiple accounts is grounds for immediate termination. Account sharing is prohibited. You may not transfer or sell your account.

The 14-day free trial is available once per Apple ID or Google account. Trial restarts are not permitted. During the trial you have access to the full check in flow, Pull Map, Feed, Discover, and up to 10 badges. You may view challenges but cannot enroll in any cash challenge during the trial period.

At the end of 14 days, a paywall requires selection of a paid plan to continue. If no plan is selected, your account enters a dormant state. Your data is preserved for 30 days. If you subscribe within that period, you retain full access to all your data. Accounts dormant for more than 30 days are permanently deleted.

Founding pricing is only available during the founding period to first-time subscribers.

Pulled offers five tiers: Free, Ritual, Explorer, Devoted, and Origin. Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) on a monthly or annual basis.

Current prices. Ritual: $4.99/month or $47.99/year. Explorer: $14.99/month or $143.99/year. Devoted: $54.99/month or $527.99/year. Origin: $129.99/month (monthly billing only, no standard annual option). Prices are subject to change with advance notice.

Founding tiers. A limited number of Founding Devoted (first 500 subscribers or first 30 days, whichever comes first) and Founding Origin (first 100 subscribers or first 30 days) subscriptions are available at reduced prices: Founding Devoted $28.83/month billed annually ($345.99/year); Founding Origin $67.99/month billed annually ($815.99/year). Founding prices are locked for life as long as the subscription remains continuously active. If a founding subscriber cancels and later resubscribes, the founding price is permanently lost and regular pricing applies, no exceptions. Once all founding spots are filled, regular pricing applies to all new subscribers. Pulled Coffee reserves the right to modify founding pricing with 90 days written notice to affected subscribers.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple or Google account settings.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until your billing period expires. No partial refunds are issued except at Pulled Coffee’s discretion as a goodwill gesture.

Upon cancellation: founding tier pricing is permanently lost, referral credits are forfeited, active challenges continue until their deadline but no new challenges may be started on a downgraded tier, and tier-specific features (leaderboard participation, profile flair) revert to the features of your new tier.

Refund requests for subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. For issues not covered by platform policies, contact hello@pulled.coffee. We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis and default to generosity. We would rather resolve your concern than lose your trust.

Challenge reward payouts are not refundable to Pulled once earned and paid. Attempting to receive a challenge payout and then request a subscription refund for the same period is considered abuse and may result in account termination.

Cash reward challenges are available to Devoted and Origin tier subscribers only. You must be at least 18 years old to enroll in any cash challenge. The app requires a one-time age confirmation (18+) before your first challenge enrollment, which is logged in our database. Each challenge has specific requirements (number of check ins, time limit, shop type) detailed on the challenge screen and in our challenge rules.

Challenges are skill-based activities with deterministic outcomes. There is no element of chance, randomness, lottery, or sweepstakes involved. You complete the defined actions, you earn the defined reward. This model is consistent with other approved skill-based reward programs.

Annual earner caps apply to each challenge type. Once the cap is reached for a given challenge in a calendar year, that challenge closes until the following year.

Maximum reward disclosure. The maximum reward of $10,000 requires completion of the Pulled 300 challenge at Origin tier. Maximum rewards shown on the challenges page require Origin tier. Devoted tier rewards are lower. See challenge rules for full tier-specific reward amounts and eligibility requirements.

After completing any challenge, a 60-day cooldown applies before that challenge may be started again. Pulled 300 has a 12-month cooldown. The daily check-in cap is 2 check-ins per calendar day, regardless of tier or number of active challenges.

All reward amounts are preceded by "Earn up to" language throughout the app and marketing materials. Individual results vary based on subscription tier, check-in frequency, shop availability, and challenge completion. Rewards are not guaranteed and require full challenge completion, GPS verification, photo verification, and passing fraud review before payout is released. Pulled Coffee is not responsible for rewards not earned due to technical issues, fraud flags, account violations, or failure to meet challenge requirements.

All reward payouts are sent via PayPal in USD. You must maintain a valid PayPal account to receive payouts. Pulled Coffee is not responsible for PayPal fees, currency conversion charges, or processing delays on PayPal’s end. We do not support alternative payout methods at this time. It is your responsibility to confirm that your PayPal account can receive USD payments in your jurisdiction before enrolling in cash challenges. Pulled Coffee is not responsible for regional PayPal restrictions, blocked accounts, or inability to receive funds due to local regulations.

New account hold. All new accounts are subject to a 30-day hold before the first payout is eligible. Rewards earned during this period are held until the 30-day mark, then released after verification.

Verification. All challenge completions are subject to verification before payout. This includes automated checks, AI-based photo analysis, and manual review of randomly selected check ins. For Pulled 100 and above, a minimum of 10 random check ins are manually reviewed before payout is released. Pulled Coffee reserves the right to request additional verification for any payout at any time. Verification timelines vary but typically complete within 7 business days of challenge completion.

Forfeiture. Payouts are permanently forfeited if fraud is detected at any point, including after a payout has been made. Post-payout fraud discovery may result in fund recovery efforts.

Check ins require an in-app photo taken at the time of the visit. Photo library uploads are not accepted. GPS location must be within approximately 80 meters (250 feet) of the shop. The app collects metadata (GPS, timestamp, device ID, accelerometer data) to verify authenticity.

If connectivity is unavailable, check ins are queued locally and sync when the connection is restored. The timestamp of the photo capture (not the sync time) is used for streak and challenge purposes.

We take fraud seriously. The following actions will result in warnings, account restrictions, or permanent bans at our discretion:

• Operating multiple accounts
• Submitting photos not taken at the claimed location
• Using screenshots, downloaded images, or manipulated photos
• GPS spoofing or location manipulation
• Collusion with other users to inflate check in counts
• Creating or checking in at fictitious locations
• Any attempt to earn rewards through means other than legitimate visits

Consequences. First offense: warning and check in flagged for review. Second offense: account restricted and active challenges paused. Third offense or confirmed fraud: permanent ban with all pending and future payouts forfeited. Auto-reject triggers (impossible travel speed, duplicate photo hash, no accelerometer movement) result in immediate check in rejection without warning.

We reserve the right to conduct post-payout audits. If fraud is discovered after a payout has been made, we may pursue recovery of the funds.

One account per person. Operating multiple accounts to collect multiple challenge rewards constitutes fraud and will result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts and forfeiture of all Pulled Balance across those accounts. Pulled Coffee reserves the right to use technical measures including but not limited to location data, photo analysis, and payment identity verification to detect and prevent multi-account abuse.

Accounts sharing a residential address or payment method linked to the same household are subject to a combined annual payout cap of $20,000 per calendar year. Only one account per household may be enrolled in Pulled 300 at any given time. These policies exist to maintain the sustainability of the challenge reward system for all members.

All challenge completion determinations are final. Users may appeal within 30 days by contacting hello@pulled.coffee. Pulled Coffee’s decision on appeal is final. Appeals submitted after the 30-day window will not be considered.

You retain ownership of photos you take through the app. By submitting a check in, you grant Pulled a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your photos and associated data for operating the service (displaying in feeds, generating share cards, verifying check ins, and compiling aggregated data). You may delete your check ins at any time, which revokes this license for the deleted content.

Profile photos are subject to automated content moderation. Explicit or inappropriate images will be rejected. Questionable content is flagged for manual review.

Users may earn referral credits by sharing their unique referral code. When a referred user subscribes to any paid plan and maintains their subscription for 30 consecutive days, both the referrer and the referred user receive a $10 credit to their Pulled Balance. Referral credits are not withdrawable until the recipient completes at least one challenge. Each user may earn a maximum of $50 in referral credits (5 referrals). Referral credits are subject to fraud review. Pulled Coffee reserves the right to revoke referral credits if fraudulent activity is detected. Referral credits have no cash value until unlocked through challenge completion. Pulled Coffee may modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.

Fraudulent referrals, including self-referral, fake accounts, or bulk referral schemes, will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all credits and rewards.

The only cash payouts in Pulled are challenge completion rewards: First 15, Explorer 30, Daily 50, Pulled 50, Pulled 100, Pulled 200, and Pulled 300. These are paid via PayPal in USD after verification and approval. No other feature of Pulled, including the referral program, leaderboard rankings, badges, or any other activity, results in a cash payment. First 15: Complete 15 check-ins at any shop within 30 days. Reward: $10. Available to Ritual tier and above. This challenge may be completed one time only and cannot be re-enrolled after completion. Minimum withdrawal amount is $25.

The Pulled Table dinner is an invitation-only annual event. Subscription to the Origin tier does not guarantee an invitation. Invitations are awarded at the sole discretion of the founder to Origin members who have completed Pulled 300. No other challenge completion qualifies for Pulled Table eligibility.

“All expenses paid” covers economy class flights from within the continental United States, two nights hotel accommodation, and the dinner, for the invited member only. International travel is not covered unless explicitly stated in the individual invitation. No guests unless explicitly stated in the invitation. Pulled Coffee reserves the right to change the format, location, or date of the event. If an invited member cannot attend, their spot does not roll over to a future event.

Liability waiver. All Pulled Table attendees are required to sign a liability waiver before travel arrangements are confirmed. The waiver covers travel risks, food allergies, and general event participation. Pulled Coffee is not responsible for flight delays, cancellations, or other travel complications. Event dates and locations are determined by Pulled at its sole discretion.

The Pulled Card is a physical artifact mailed to Devoted and Origin members who complete Pulled 50 (50 unique specialty shops in 90 days). After challenge verification, the app prompts the user for a shipping address. Pulled Coffee ships The Pulled Card within 14 business days of receiving the shipping address. Pulled Coffee reserves the right to modify the design, materials, or specifications of The Pulled Card at any time. The Pulled Card has no cash value and is not transferable. One Pulled Card per qualifying challenge completion. Lost or damaged cards may be replaced at Pulled Coffee's discretion.

The Pulled Crest is a premium physical artifact mailed to Origin members who complete Pulled 100 (100 unique specialty shops in 180 days). After challenge verification, the app prompts the user for a shipping address. Pulled Coffee ships The Pulled Crest within 14 business days of receiving the shipping address. Pulled Coffee reserves the right to modify the design, materials, or specifications of The Pulled Crest at any time. The Pulled Crest has no cash value and is not transferable. One Pulled Crest per qualifying challenge completion. Lost or damaged items may be replaced at Pulled Coffee's discretion.

Pulled Coffee requires two photographs for each check in: one showing the inside of your cup and one showing your drink with the shop environment visible. These photos are captured through the app camera and stored on our servers for verification purposes. Photos from your device library cannot be used for check ins. By using the check in feature, you consent to the collection, storage, and analysis of these photographs. Photos may be reviewed by automated systems and human reviewers for fraud prevention and challenge verification.

The app collects precise GPS coordinates during each check in to verify your proximity to the claimed shop. You must be within approximately 80 meters (250 feet) of the shop to complete a check in. Location data is stored with your check in record. By enabling location permissions and using the check in feature, you consent to the collection and storage of your precise location data.

By completing a check in, you represent and confirm that you purchased a qualifying drink at the claimed shop during that visit. False attestation constitutes fraud under these Terms and may result in account termination and forfeiture of all earned and pending rewards.

Pulled Coffee classifies shops as Specialty, Chain, or Cafe based on publicly available data including Google Places category information and our internal moderation. This classification determines which challenges a check in counts toward. Pulled Coffee reserves the right to reclassify any shop at any time. Users may submit reclassification requests through the app. Classification decisions are final and at Pulled Coffee's sole discretion.

The Pulled name, logo, design system, and app content are the property of Pulled Coffee. You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written permission. The share card feature generates branded content, this is a licensed use for personal social sharing only, not commercial reproduction.

Pulled is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific reward availability, or the accuracy of shop data sourced from third-party providers (Google Places). Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Pulled is limited to the amount you paid in subscription fees during the 12 months preceding the claim, or $500, whichever is greater.

We are not responsible for: PayPal processing delays or failures, App Store or Play Store billing issues, GPS inaccuracies caused by your device or environment, shop closures or changes not yet reflected in our database, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Reward earnings may be considered taxable income depending on your country of residence. Pulled does not withhold taxes on your behalf. You are solely responsible for understanding and meeting your tax obligations under the laws of your jurisdiction.

US taxpayers. Pulled is required by the IRS to report cumulative payments of $600 or more in a calendar year. If your cumulative payouts reach $500 in a calendar year, you will be required to complete a W9 form before any further withdrawals are processed. We collect your full legal name, address, and either a Social Security Number or Employer Identification Number for this purpose. This information is encrypted at rest and is used solely for tax reporting compliance. At year end, US taxpayers who received $600 or more will receive a 1099-NEC form. Pulled is responsible for filing the 1099-NEC with the IRS on your behalf.

Non-US users. Tax reporting obligations vary by country. You are responsible for declaring reward income to your local tax authority as required. Pulled may collect tax identification information from non-US users as required by applicable law.

Tax identification information is retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by applicable recordkeeping regulations. This data is retained even after account deletion.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting hello@pulled.coffee. Upon deletion, all personal data including your profile, check in history, photos, and challenge data is removed within 30 days. Tax records are retained for the legally required period (7 years) regardless of account deletion. Anonymized aggregated data (such as total check ins at a shop) may be retained indefinitely.

Active challenges are forfeited upon account deletion. Pending payouts for verified challenge completions will be processed within the standard 3 to 5 business day window before deletion is finalized. Subscriptions must be cancelled through Apple or Google before deleting your account to avoid continued billing.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute on your Pulled subscription will result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of any pending Pulled Balance. Suspension is automatic upon receipt of a chargeback notification and does not require prior warning. If you believe a chargeback was filed in error (for example, due to unauthorized use by another person), contact hello@pulled.coffee to request account review.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination for cause, access to the app ceases immediately, active challenges are forfeited, and pending payouts may be withheld if the termination was due to fraud or terms violations. Pending payouts for verified, non-fraudulent completions will still be processed for terminations unrelated to fraud.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Pulled that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except where prohibited by law. You retain the right to bring qualifying claims in small claims court.

Class action waiver. You and Pulled Coffee agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis. Neither party may bring claims as part of a class action, consolidated action, or representative proceeding. This waiver applies to arbitration and any court proceedings. If a court finds this class action waiver unenforceable, the arbitration agreement does not apply to that claim.

Pulled reserves the right to modify pricing, challenge rules, and payout amounts with 30 days notice to active subscribers. Founding tier subscribers receive 90 days written notice before any changes to their locked pricing or benefits. Changes do not apply retroactively to challenges already in progress at the time of notice. Continued use of Pulled after the effective date constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
